Biggs Is Right (2015-2020)
Biggs is Right was my baby. I had a handful of songs written, and wanted to do the whole "band" thing with my own tunes. I met Tyler on a hiking meetup that our now-wives made us attend, and learned he played drums. Sold. I then found Oskar from his Craigslist bass ad. Do people still meet other people on Craigslist? Am I just weird? Anyhow, we met at a brewery, and I had to walk home. Sold. I brought them guitar & vocal demos, they made them sound much better, and I'm forever grateful. High five, friends! Geography split us up, but they're still my pals, whether they like it or not.

Brendan & the Strangest Ways (2013-2015)
(Originally "Don't Cry Mac, You Lost")
Shortly after moving to Seattle, my now-wife's roommates had some friends who thought they were SO cool for being in a subpar band. "Nice to meet you, we're in a band. ...Did we tell you we're in a band?" Quite the ego they had. As a direct result, I posted on Craigslist seeking a band to join as a way to stick it to those dorks. Brendan responded, and was looking for bass and backing vocals. We met, he wasn't catfishing me, and turned out he was one heck of a songwriter. Sold. Brendan, thanks for helping me stick it to the dorks while pretending to be a bassist, both on stage and on this record!
